J.P. won his first World Cup medals at the Olympic Qualifiers in The Hague Netherlands. He won bronze in the 500m and silver in the 1000m. This season he finishes 7th overall up from 8th overall last season. overall. This season, he swept all three distances at the US World Cup trials and has been consistently skating well at the World Cups.

Kalyna Roberge

Outside of Canada, Kalyna doesn't have the recognition of her veteran teammates, but at nineteen, she has time. Last season, she finished 3rd at the World Junior Championships. This year, she's made the Olympic team by winning the 500m and 1500m at Canadian Olympic trials. Kalyna is 4th overall in the 500m after the first two World Cups and has been anchoring the Canadian relay team.

Satoru Terao

On Oct. 24th, Saturo Terao won his 7th national title after winning the 500m, 1000m and 1500m. At the age of 30 when most short trackers have retired, Saturo continues to compete at the highest levels not only nationally but internationally as well. He's currently ranked sixth overall in the World.
